Deck Restoration in Mansfield, MA

Five stars everyday for Pat and Joe along with their crew. Not only are they personable, they are smart, professional and continue to do a top quality job on our deck replacement. Their attention to detail and the time they take to inform us of any issues that have come up is well worth the cost of the deck replacement. The price paid for the work they perform is spot on! As a homeowner, I do not want to skimp when they determine that there is an issue or problem uncovered. Every home /project has their own issues, and I trust their honest assessment. They gave us a couple of options and their expert opinion. The quality of the work being performed has been beyond my expectations. As I fancy myself as a bit of a handyman, I love that they take time to explain what they are doing to me for my own personal edification.

These guys came out with samples helped me design my deck and had great advice. From start to finish I felt like they cared about my project and their recommendations were great. Amazing work, honest people and will give you the time of day to figure everything out!

Great company easy to work with and did an amazing job, would highly recommend!

Joe and Pat were both highly knowledgeable from the very beginning. I'd have no issue hiring them again for future projects.

Amazing work. Joeys the man

I have no regrets hiring South Coast Decks LLC to work on my deck project. I needed to have my front and rear decks repaired, replacing decking, railings, trim work and stairs. From writing up my contract to doing the work, Pat and Joe were very professional and accommodating to my requirements of deck improvements. They not only contract the work but also do the work so the job gets done right. Pat keeps you updated on their work progress and schedules. The work area is always cleaned up after every workday. Their attention to details and their experience in their craftsmanship has produced the quality job on my deck as seen in the photos. They also use only high-quality durable products on the job; you will not see any short cuts in their work. If you need any deck work, I highly recommend South Coast Decks LLC to do the job. They are honest hardworking guys that will deliver on their promise to provide you with the best work possible.

Working with Pat, Joe, and their team exceeded all my expectations. They worked closely with me on my idea for an expanded deck with a new stair configuration, completing several designs as my needs expanded and formalized. During the build, they were communicative, transparent, and kept their working area clean and organized. Their estimate was right in line with the actual cost of the project as well. When it comes to the build itself, they are extremely thorough and build to an amazing level of quality and craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the deck and will be going to them for any further add ons or changes in the future.

I had an old deck that was falling apart. It was only a little bit off the ground, so they came out and were like, "Why not just get a patio?" I liked the look of a deck, so we went ahead with an estimate. They came back a few days later and found out that the original deck was never properly permitted and getting the paperwork done would nearly double the price. They then said they would be more than happy with a smaller job of dismantling the deck and building new steps that would lead down to a patio, like they suggested before. They were super honest, upfront, and transparent throughout the whole process and the quality of their work was superb. I cannot recommend them enough.

I was extremely impressed with the work that Pat and Joe did with my deck. It's beautiful and done exactly to our specifications. They step by step walked us through everything that would take place each day and were quick to answer any questions. I particularly liked that they included both myself and my wife in the deck planning. So often contractors will insist on only talking to me, as the man, so to include her as well made her very happy. Job well done.

Joe and Pat were awesome at giving me some options for repairing my deck and being totally upfront about what could and could be done within a budget without a big upsell. When it came to the work, they pulled a 12+ hour day and did amazing work. So thankful to support a small local business that does such a good job.

Pat and Joe are really amazing to work with. First of all, they are the ones doing the work, not subs. They were there each day of the job not only completing the work that they said they would do but kept the yard extremely clean and organized. Additionally, these guys are upfront with all the costs, down to the penny. Honesty is the norm with these guys. Finally, they are super personable. They are extremely proud of the work that they do and are very willing to talk through each step of the project. Did I mention their attention to detail. The little things matter and these guys know it. I highly recommend hiring these guys for your next deck project.

From the very first meeting, I knew I was in good hands with South Coast Decks LLC. Joey and Pat showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and stuck to their word. The level of care they put into their work is something you don’t see much anymore. They were careful with our yard, kept their work area tidy, and at the end of each day, they let us know exactly what was completed and what was planned next. The finished deck looks incredible — solid, clean, and built to last. I couldn’t be happier.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Joey and Pat from South Coast Decks LLC absolutely earned this one. From day one, they showed up exactly when they said they would, and their attention to detail blew me away. These guys didn’t just build a deck — they treated my property like it was their own. Every day before leaving, they cleaned up all their tools and equipment, made sure the lawn was protected, and even gave me a quick run-down of what got done that day. It’s rare these days to find contractors who are this professional, hands-on, and committed to doing the job right. The same two guys who came out to give me the estimate were the same ones doing the project. If you want top-quality craftsmanship from a team that takes pride in their work and respects your home, Joey and Pat are the ones to call.

Pat and Joe were such a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend them! They are very professional and had great design ideas. They completed the job even earlier than expected and my new deck looks beautiful.

South Coast Decks delivered exceptional workmanship and brought our vision to life with impressive attention to detail. Pat & Joe take real pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality of the finished product. One of the things we appreciated most was their willingness to work toward every detail of our vision & working with the materials we selected as homeowners. They never pushed a one-size-fits-all approach—just thoughtful collaboration and expert execution. Their communication also stood out to us. Each morning began with a clear review of the day’s plan, and they kept us updated throughout the day with texts and photos, which made the whole process feel smooth and transparent. Throughout the project, any changes or additions were handled with transparency and fairness. The change order process was straightforward and well-documented, and they kept us informed every step of the way. If you're looking for a team that combines skilled craftsmanship with professionalism, flexibility, and clear communication, South Coast Decks is the best choice

I've worked with plenty of contractors before and Pat & Joe at South Coast Decks are second to none! Their professionalism from our first meeting throughout the entire project was always on display. From discussing options, to offering recommendations and working with us to design a plan that was within our budget, they were amazing. Once the project actually started their communication was excellent and their attention to detail was incredible. They even put up a full sized tent to able to continue working throughout heavy spring rain. If you're contemplating building a deck, look no further than South Coast Decks.

We had the pleasure of working with South Coast Decks on a recent deck and side entry reconstruction project. From the very beginning of the project - design discussion and estimates - South Coast was hands on with suggesting color, materials and size and location of our new decks. The estimate was in line with the others we received, but it was their communication style, responsiveness and knowledge of working with Timber Tech materials that sold us on using them. Pat and Joe had an excellent set of inspiration materials and some tools to help a homeowner make design decisions. The project was started when they said it would be. The permit was in place months prior to the anticipated start date. Materials were delivered timely and neatly stored in our driveway, protected from the elements, in advance of them starting work. Pat and Joe worked with us to order the materials in advance of any possible tariffs going into effect, which we really appreciated. At the end of every day, we were sent a status update via text, including photos, which was really helpful. The job site was very well organized and was completely cleaned up at the end of every day. The project was completed on time (maybe even ahead of time), and we are so pleased with the results (photos coming!). Post-construction, South Coast checked in with us and came back for a final check. They followed up on punch list items almost immediately. These guys really know what they are doing! THEY DO NOT CUT CORNERS, and they stand by their work! If you are going to make a substantial investment in your home by replacing your decks, these are the guys you want!

Great experience start to finish. The deck looks amazing and the team was proffesional and reliable.

South Coast Decks did an amazing job on our new deck! Great communication, quality craftsmanship, and everything was completed on time. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space!
